It was a last minute thing, and my usual, really cool dog sitter wasn't available. Neither was the guy who lives upstairs. He was going camping. So there was a mad rush to find a new dog sitter.<br /><br />The guy who lives upstairs has this really awesome friend named Patrick who agreed to come over and walk and feed me. He even stayed overnight, upstairs with Kai, the camping guy who lives upstairs dog. And he took me out, and laughed at all my jokes, fed and watered me, and scritched my ears just the right way.<br /><br />I just wanted to say Thanks Patrick. This bird nonchalantly strolls into a store in Aberdeen, Scotland, grabs a bag of Doritos, and scampers off with the goods. Apparently, people are paying, yes, PAYING for this birds thievery. They think it's 'cute.'<br /><br />I'm cute. Heck, I spent the first three months of my life tripping over these cumbersome ears, all in the name of cuteness. And when I simply try to get a cookie off the coffee table, I get read the riot act.<br /><br />There is simply no justice in the world. Not just the usual dog breath, but a quick shift from 'rotten trout' to 'downright nasty and probably toxic.'<br /><br />I hadn't had a good brushing for a couple of weeks. I don't like to get my teeth brushed, ok? It's not fun, I mean. I put up with it, but I'm just not a fan is all I'm tryin' to say.<br /><br />So anyway, yesterday both the humans here pinned me down, and brushed. And when the whole thing was over, there it was. Just lying on the bathroom tile. One of my teeth. And suddenly, I smell a whole lot better.<br /><br />But now they're talking vet.
